About:

Majeedah Khan is a seasoned Clinical Nutritionist with 5+ years of experience designing and delivering personalised nutrition care for patients with chronic and complex conditions. With a strong foundation in medical nutrition therapy and interdisciplinary care, she has worked across hospitals, rehab centres, and digital health startups—developing a keen ability to translate science into simple, practical guidance for everyday life. As the Lead Clinical Nutritionist at Zarity Health, she anchors the nutrition care pathway for patients with diabetes, obesity, dyslipidaemia, and pre/post-surgical needs. Her approach balances precision with empathy—combining lab-driven assessments, behavioural coaching, and culturally appropriate meal planning to drive real, sustainable outcomes. Majeedah is especially passionate about working with patients navigating lifestyle-linked health conditions and metabolic imbalances. Whether it’s managing blood sugar variability, addressing hidden micronutrient gaps, or supporting recovery after surgery, she takes pride in being both a guide and a motivator through the healing process.

Experience:

Currently: Majeedah Khan is the Lead Clinical Nutritionist at Zarity Health (Jan 2025 – Present). She oversees all nutrition protocols across Zarity’s structured chronic care programs—spanning diabetes, metabolic health, cardiovascular risk reduction, and post-operative care. She leads clinical strategy, patient review processes, and internal training for the nutrition team, while also directly consulting high-risk patients through the Zarity app. Since joining Zarity in April 2023, she has played a key role in building the company’s digital-first nutrition model, integrating WhatsApp nudges, app-based tracking, and structured meal templates that simplify lifestyle change for patients. She continues to lead weekly 1:1 consults, team rounds, and patient case reviews. Previously: Majeedah worked as a Clinical Nutritionist at St. John’s Research Institute (May 2022 – Nov 2022), where she managed diet plans for patients in nephrology, oncology, ICU, paediatrics, and burns. Her internship at the same institution (Jan 2022 – Apr 2022) involved intensive hands-on work across OBG and general surgery wards, developing plans for patients with complex clinical needs. She was also a Dietitian at Sukino Healthcare (Nov 2022 – Mar 2023), focusing on rehabilitation nutrition, elderly care, and discharge counselling. Her earlier role as a Nutrition Consultant at HealthifyMe (Aug 2021 – Nov 2021) gave her experience with remote weight management coaching, where she handled over 50 clients with conditions like diabetes, cholesterol imbalance, and hormonal issues. Her early foundation includes internships at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research and Sparrc Institute, where she worked with renal, cancer, cardiovascular, orthopaedic, and sports nutrition cases.

Education:

Majeedah Khan holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Nutrition from the prestigious Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai (2019–2021). Her academic work focused on immune-modulatory nutrition, with a dissertation titled “Evaluation of In-Vitro Immunobooster Activity of Tinospora cordifolia by Measurement of Inflammatory Marker (TNF-alpha) on Macrophages”. Graduating with a stellar 9.14 CGPA, she combined rigorous research with clinical internships in ICUs, oncology wards, and nephrology units. She completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women, Chennai (2014–2017), consistently ranking among the top students. During her undergraduate years, she held leadership roles including President of the Enviro Club and was awarded multiple accolades for academic and extracurricular excellence—reflecting her early passion for nutrition science and community health. Her schooling at the International Indian School, Dammam (2000–2013) laid a strong foundation in communication and leadership. She was a subject topper in English (95%) and a two-time winner of the CBSE Inter-school Debate competition, skills that now support her ability to educate and motivate patients with clarity and confidence. With training across nutrition assessment, critical care diets, enteral feeding, and chronic condition counselling, Majeedah’s academic journey has shaped her into a well-rounded, clinically competent, and research-informed nutritionist equipped for real-world impact.
