About:
Dr Shiva Jain is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a focus on rehabilitation, pain management, and patient-centric care. She combines evidence-based practice with clinical decision-making to deliver personalised physiotherapy plans, supporting patients in regaining strength, mobility, and quality of life. With extensive experience across private, semi-private, and government hospitals, she has managed a wide spectrum of cases, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and lifestyle-related musculoskeletal issues. Her passion for teaching, research, and community outreach is reflected in her academic contributions, workshops, and health camps, helping to advance physiotherapy practice while making care accessible to all.
Experience:
Currently: Dr Shiva Jain served as Assistant Professor at Terna Physiotherapy College, Nerul (Mar 2021 – Jun 2024), delivering lectures, clinical training, and research mentorship to physiotherapy students. She also worked as a Consultant Physiotherapist at Terna Hospital and Research Centre, providing patient care while organising community camps and workplace ergonomic programs. She has been actively involved in freelancing and private practice since April 2017, offering personalised physiotherapy services across a wide range of conditions, ensuring holistic rehabilitation. Previously: Dr Shiva Jain worked as a Consultant Physiotherapist at Dr Chaudhary’s Clinic, Seawoods (Oct 2020 – Feb 2021), handling orthopaedic and post-operative cases. She also served as a PG Resident (Nov 2017 – Jan 2020) in various physiotherapy departments, gaining hands-on experience in OPD, IPD, and ICU setups. During her early clinical journey, she completed internships at multiple hospitals, including Terna Hospital, NMMC Hospital, and Neurogen Hospital, managing diverse patient needs in musculoskeletal, neurological, and paediatric physiotherapy.
Education:
Dr Shiva Jain completed her BPTh at MUHS, Nashik (2012 – 2017) and MPT in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at MUHS, Nashik (Nov 2017 – Jan 2020). She is currently pursuing her PhD in Physiotherapy (Batch 2022–23) at TNMC & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai, focusing on advancing physiotherapy research and practice. Her academic excellence is reflected in multiple university ranks and awards, along with active research contributions through national and international publications.
