At home, an older man with a feeding tube taped to his cheek smiles as his daughter shows him something on her phone.
The Recovery Gap

The hardest part of tube feeding starts at home.

Getting home is a relief. Then the feeds, the flushes, and the questions are yours to manage, usually weeks before your next hospital visit.

In their kitchen, a woman pours measured formula into a feeding bottle while her husband watches from a stool.
Built on clinical guidelines

Your feeding plan follows ESPEN guidelines for home enteral nutrition, adapted for Indian patients.

"I went through cancer treatment myself, and found there was almost no structured care for the recovery that comes after. So we built it."

Dwija Sharma, Founder
Designed with senior specialists

Our advisors include specialists in gastroenterology, interventional radiology, and cancer care. Meet them.

  1. What to feed, and how much

Your discharge sheet names a formula and a volume. Not what to change when it does not sit well.

  2. When something goes wrong

Loose stools, bloating, vomiting, a feed that will not go down. Usually weeks before your next hospital visit.

  3. Weight that keeps slipping

It drops quietly. No one is watching the trend between visits.

  4. Doing it right

Preparing feeds, flushing the tube, keeping the site clean. A new routine for you and whoever helps you at home.

Zarity exists to close that gap.

Real moments

The same weeks, two ways.

Most families do their best on their own. Here is what changes with a nutritionist beside you.

  1. Day 1You get homeOn your ownYou follow the discharge sheet and hope the amounts are right. With ZarityYour nutritionist reviews your discharge summary and sets a plan around how you tolerate feeds.
  2. Week 1A feed does not sit wellOn your ownYou search online, call the hospital desk, or wait for the next visit. With ZarityYou Ping your nutritionist, get advice for the next feed, and an updated plan follows.
  3. Week 3Your weight dipsOn your ownIt is often noticed at the next hospital visit. With ZarityYour weekly check-in catches it, and your plan changes that week.
  4. Every dayYour family runs the routineOn your ownThey learn from videos online, and by trial and error. With ZarityThey learn from our reading material, short videos, and your consults.
  5. When clearedYour doctor says you can start eatingOn your ownYou work out what to try first, and how much. With ZarityYou get a gradual plan back to food, alongside the tube.
Between Visits

Something changes. The plan changes with it.

Something feels off after a feed. You Ping your nutritionist, get advice for right now, and an updated plan follows.

  1. Feeling bloated and a bit nauseous after the morning feed. Some reflux too.

  2. Thanks for telling me. For now, stay sitting up during feeds and for an hour after. Push your next feed back 30 minutes and run it slower.

  3. Log how it goes. I’ll share an updated plan by this evening. If you vomit more than once or have pain that does not settle, call your doctor.

  4. Slower feed went down better. Less bloated.

  5. Feeding plan updated

Smaller feeds, spaced further apart. Same total for the day.

  6. Your updated plan is in the app. We’ll see how the week goes at Saturday’s check-in.

Safe by design

We work alongside your doctor, never instead of them.

Your doctor

Owns your diagnosis, your tube, and your medication.

Your treatment stays with your hospital.

Zarity

Owns your feeding plan.

What you take, how much, when, and how it changes week to week.

  • We never diagnose, prescribe, or change your medication.
  • Anything outside nutrition goes straight back to your doctor.
  • Food by mouth only once your doctor or swallowing therapist clears it.

This is not an emergency service. If your tube comes out, or you have a fever or trouble breathing, contact your hospital straight away.

What we help with

The problems tube feeding brings, worked on one by one.

When feeds do not sit well

  • Loose stools
  • Bloating
  • Reflux or vomiting after feeds
  • Constipation
  • Weight loss
  • Dehydration

Getting the plan right

  • Feed timing and volume
  • Choosing or changing formula
  • Protein and nutrient gaps
  • Moving back to food by mouth, once cleared

A tube that comes out, or a red or leaking site, needs your hospital, not a feed change.

Your feeding plan does not sit in a silo.

  • It follows your medical care. When your doctor changes your medication or treatment, your feeding plan changes with it.
  • It supports your rehab. If you are rebuilding strength with our physiotherapist, your nutrition is planned around it.

Questions, answered

The things people ask before they join.

Do I still need my hospital doctor?

Yes. Your doctor owns your diagnosis, your tube, and your medication. We handle your feeding plan, and send anything outside nutrition back to them.

Do I have to come to the clinic?

No. The weekly check-in can be at our clinic in Koramangala or by video. You and your nutritionist decide together.

Do you supply the formula?

No. We tell you what to use and how much. You buy it.

Will I eat by mouth again?

That is your doctor’s call. Once your doctor or swallowing therapist clears it, we plan a gradual move back to food, alongside the tube.

What if something goes wrong at night?

Pings are answered Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Outside those hours, or in an emergency, contact your hospital.

Can I stop any time?

Yes. Your plan stops at the end of the month you have paid for.

Is it covered by insurance?

We do not currently support insurance claims for the program. The fee is paid directly.
